Radio Names To Be Dropped After Decades

Several commercial radio stations in the West Midlands are to drop names used for nearly 3 decades it has been revealed. Orion Media announced that four stations, BRMB, Beacon, Mercia and Wyvern would all become Free Radio in April, describing the promotion of four separate brands as not “financially feasible”. They went on to say that no jobs would be lost and they would continue with their current local output.
