Birmingham City Council Launches Pay Appeal

Birmingham City Council has lodged an appeal application against a court ruling on equal pay for female employees. The case that was heard at the court of appeal involved 174 former Birmingham City Council employees. A council spokesperson confirmed that the appeal had been lodged and were waiting to hear whether the appeal could go ahead.
