A Coventry man who is attempting to be the first man to ski solo to both Poles, has said that he “feels good” after reaching the South Pole. Mark Wood, achieved his goal after skiing 612 miles in 50 days, spending Christmas, New Year and his birthday on his own. He now has 3 weeks to recover before tackling the North Pole.
